Photographer's Note

Saint-Trinity Holkovskiy man's monastery settles down in a southern part of Russia, in the Belgorod area, in ancient Russian village Holki. The cave monastery has been found in the beginning of 12 century having the building plan like of Kiev-Pecherskaya Lavra in Kiev. The Vladimir chapel which you can see here stays on a place where a meeting of Russian princes before their campaign against steppe nomads in 1185 took place. The chapel has been constructed recently, in 1996. The great staircase was built in front of chapel. The staircase consists of the 298 steps that is the quantity of sins at over St Hieronim.
Unfortunately, the day has cloudy and rainy so vicinities which open from a high hill are not visible. But light smoke created a kind of mystic sensation so a temple as though soared in air. Spasibo for your comments.
