This is an interesting shot Antonio. Although nobody is visible we can get a sense of the way of life of the people here; there's a wealth of interesting detail.
I like how the whole thing is lifted by the bright colours of the boats and laundry, but I think ity would have been even better if you could have recorded the cloudy sky without over-exposing it - a dark sky would have given it more mood.
Other than that, good work.

I very well remember that photo. It was surely obvious that such a perfect photo could come out of that colorful and interesting place. Ant this is it :)
Very much like a painting, how beautiful colors of that boats and charming laundry...

Olá Antonio,
Belo colorido este que os barcos e roupa estendida transmitem à foto.
A foto tem um aspecto sereno transmitido pela água, quase sem movimento, e pelo facto de não haver ninguém visível.
Gosto muito desta, onde o único senão será mesmo o céu um pouco sobreexposto à esquerda, mas tambem se quisesses controlar mais a luz no céu a parte de baixo talvez ficasse demasiado sombria.

E não arranjas boas fotos tiradas do helicóptero?
Olá António, aqui está a versão 'bonitinha' da outra foto que vários sugeriram no outro post, incluindo eu :) Está muito bonita e eu ainda consigo imaginar um crop mais apertado, só com a roupa e os dois barcos. Isto deve ser um paraíso para fotografia...Acho piada à forma de abraço dos tumulos do cemitério, mas a que eu gosto mesmo mais é o WS do barco no estaleiro. É original tem um aspecto industrial que me atrai, os reflexos estão muito bons e a contraste da cor alaranjada é espectacular. Bom voltar a ver-te por aqui - deves andar cheio de trabalho...

Hi Antonio,
A good composition which reflects great contrast between the old, bland colours of the metal housing, and the bright, vibrant colours of the fishing boats. The reflections on the water provides additional interest to the image.

Se isto é concorrência às minhas fotos recentes de barcos de pesca, ficas a ganhar, pelo menos nas cores ;-) Mas eu ainda tenho umas bem coloridas para publicar.
Com ou sem poluição, ficou uma imagem muito bonita, apesar de algumas casas mais "quadradas" lá para trás.

Olá António,
Esta foto tem cores muito alegres dos barquinhos, que combinam com as roupas. Gostei muito dos reflexos na água.
O céu é assustador, mas as roupas estão ali bem sossegadas, sem medo de intempéries (um quadro que pode dar margem a muitas interpretações).
A nota e as fotos do WS também estão muito interessantes.

While this photo is the best of the three with its colorful boats and laundry and their reflections against the interesting detail of the houses and sky; the other two are also seserving of being primary posts. In the cemetary shot, I particularly like that diagonal of clouds sweeping across the sky; together with the cemetary and water each occupies an attractive third. You should have hitched a lift in our chopper Antonio, it would have got you thee in about 30 minutes! Great shot backed by that moody sky. Lovely colours and fine reflections. There are some rickity old houses there, it looks like one gust of wind would blow them away. A fine shot my friend, well done.

You are so lucky to be able to travel so far afield with your job. This is an amazing image. The colours in this daily life shot are superb. I like the clothing hanging on the clothes lines. To me this is one excellent composition. Wow.

Antonio, this is a lovely shot. The colors are vivid and the dark clouds gives a good contrast. Excelent POV with a good eye for details and overall great composition. I always wonder why such poor places gives such interesting shots. It is certainly not interesting to live in such conditions.

Wow Antonio...colors like an impressionistic painting, beautiful bright tones while keeping some natural tonality in the wood of the buildings and the sky. Good perspective also, the slight angle of the boats really helps the overall composition.

salut antonio

lately I have realized eventhough how big this world is , hobbies and passions are common. I am talking about seaside photography and common subject of fishing.

I appreciate your effort to take four hours to reach that destination. usually river - inland fishing does not provide that much of an income , considering these village people make a living by doing so , either there are restaurants nearby or they sell it to big cities , maybe government collects the product

A composition that reminds me of the small villages along the Peruvian Amazon,albeit less colorful.
Great challenge from the different intensity of light,which you did control well enough to offer an interesting document of the place.
I find the color a little bit too saturated on my computer.
