Photographer's Note
These young guys were taking a break from pulling their "Dashi" at the Gion Matsuri (Festival) in Narita City. A picture I might upload later has them in position, ready to pull the Dashi up the hill from the temple gateway.

Great group shot. Some of the expressions are wonderful. Could use some sharpening.

I like this one very much too. The punky hair style in harmony with the traditional clothing. Great shot. The 10D focus gremlins got you too. :)
