[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
Kanchenjunga is the worlds 3rd highest mountain. This is a partial resubmit. I wanted to experiment with post processing & cropping.

Taken from the balcony of the Silver Spring Hotel in Darjeeling, at dawn, on a cold, frosty, winters morning.

Darjeeling is 2134 m above sea level. Ghum Railway Station, nearby, is 2257.65 metres above sea level, & is the 2nd highest train stn in the world, after Cuzco to Machu Pichu in the Peruvian Andes.

Hello Chris,
A very beautiful picture you didi tho these nice, distant and high moutains. Excelent contrast between light and shadow contrast with these impressive scenery. Good management of light conditions. Diagonal lines, textures and also a beautiful blue sky.

hi chris, quite a brave pov - could you breath up there?; fascinating trip, and spectacular view;
nice work;
have a nice sunday, jerzy

Blue and pink. All is said.
This caught my eyes for its purity and its colours.
This is at the border between abstraction and lanscapes.

Dear Chris,
It's a beautiful picture, perhaps are the blue colours tones through working PP!
But I like very a lot this wonderful image!
Best regards,
John

A wonderful atmosphere and mood here, Chris. The blue is so appropriate for us to see the haze in the wintery air.

Nice rendition of the streak of sunlight as it hits the range, Chris. The panoramic format is of course the logical way to show this subject. It might also work well a tad darker.

I'm not sure what a partial resubmit is but the correct way to do a repost is to find the original photo in your "manage" section and click the "re-post" link - otherwise it is technically a duplicate that the administrator might remove.

the light so fabulous

always this nice summit.. I really have to trek there once in my lifetime.. Ìt's so beautiful..
thanks..

Very nice mountain view Chris, the light is gorgeous, the dark parts in the bottom contribue nicely to emphase the effect. Nice panorama, well done.

Hi Chris, An impressive shot of the peak mountain. The shade and the sky makes a very nice contrast to the under the sunlight mountain peak. It looks that you were at a very high elevation as well when you took this picture. An excellent shot with clarity sharpness. Well done.

Hi Chris. You have some outstanding light and shadows. The soft light really makes the shot for me. I like the tighter framing here, a by-product of your lens. Awesome shot Chris!

Hello Chris.
Breathtaking view,I like the colors and the red sandwich between the two tones of blue.very effective as a mood setter.
Bravo
Charles

Wow. Colors are so deep and contrastic. A devine view, it's hard to believe that someone could have such a view from a balcony..
Great shot, Chris.

hi Chris
lovely light on beautiful Kanchenjunga...
this is a magical moment...

A very fine and sensitive piece of composition and execution.

What a scope, and the limited color spectrum is only an addition that renders the view even more powerful. These shots deserve no resizing and a 50" screen, really, comp screens are too teeny weeny for them!

Amazing picture I love it. the color the light and the texture of the picture is grate.

I like really your work

very nice panorama & my special thanks to you for having showcased it as this beauty is clicked from my state :)
Nice composition
Just trying my hands a bit on PP; accept or reject with a :) as you wish...
