[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur

Mehrangarh fort is about 5km from Jodhpur Town. It also features a museum.

The museum is one of the finest museums in Rajasthan and certainly the best layed out. In the palanquin section of the fort museum, you can see an interesting collection of old royal palanquins including the elaborate domed gilt Mahadol palanquin, which was won in a battle from the Governor of Gujarat in 1730. The museum exhibits the heritage of the Rathores in arms, costumes, paintings and decorated period rooms.

Actually I show you nothing of this all: just an impression of the rooms inside the museum.

Perfect, the composition is amazing, the light is very good. The door at the end gives it something extra. If it can close any moment, wow.

Ça c'est de l'encadrement... Et jamais un gardien de musée n'a été aussi bien cadré et encadré...

Otimo e forte padrão criado com a arquitetura do Rajastão. Muito original e interessante a ideia Alfred.
Rgds.
aznegrao.

interesting shot. nice lighting.

Very nice Alfred! These door frames really appear to be frames, with elements at the bottom as well as sides and top. It is difficult to discern initially whether they are openings in the wall or some painting hanging on the wall showing this scene. The guard seated at the end of this series of openings makes the composition, at least to my eye.

Wonderful colors and excellent detail. Fine work.

I like this almost 'graphic' image I well executed idea - well done :)

I thought first this was a mirror compo but no you spotted nicely this rythme in slight perspective with good warm colortone saturation and thanks for the note giving this capture good photographic sense.

EXCELLENT composition, wonderful perspective, great with the person at the end. Good colour and contrast in a great photo.

Hi Alfred,
Great perspective and DOF.
Regards, Sarah

Great perspective and well seen. Your title is spot on - however if he had moved to the left a bit then his head would have blended in with the picture behind him. Good exposure for indoors without flash.

Hi Alfred

I like this picture very much Really corresponds to my genre Good shot !
By the way do they allow tripods ?_ Funny you have quite a depth of field with an open aperture Izzet

I really like this image Alfred.. Incredibly wwell composed.. I also remember the place, but didn't have the idea to do it.. I love the repetition here.. and the guardian sittig there gives a lot of strenght to this image..

Lovely.

What a composition !
All those doors, with different tones ... They just ask you to go through !

And then, the only door we really see is the one just in front of this guy. We can almost hear him: 'Come in my friend, come to see'.

Thanks for this one, I really like it !
Youssef.
