[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
Not particularly a bright picture but I’m playing reporter: I tried to find on this site a picture of an “Indian Ambassador”. I couldn’t locate one. As the car is a must see, here is mine.

Hindustan Motors was the first Indian Car Company to start production in India in 1942
In 1957 began the production of the Ambassador.
As stated on the manufacturer’s website: quote - A hardy vehicle suited to Indian roads and conditions, it was all what a car was meant to be to the average Indian. Changing times made it change gears, and the vehicle, in its new incarnation as the Ambassador Nova took to the streets again. It has two variants - Ambassador diesel and Ambassador ISZ. – end quote

On the location: Could not trace the temple in my travel log although it is quite famous. It’s located near Gupteswar. You first go up 100 stairs. Then you dive in a cave where priests are offering fruit to their god(s). Very impressive. Pictures not allowed.

I’ll post a crop of the sign in the workshop so that people who can read the sign could give us some direction.

I agree, it's a must, and this is a nice one. But there are others on the site. A search for ambassador reveals three, one in error, and there's this one, which the search doesn't find.

Cars,is one ways to tell us the history of the Country and places. An good shot, in the report way, good sharpness and good note, Alfred!

João Eduardo

Well composed. This car could be repaired at any nook or corner of India by roadside mechanics, unlike the foreign models.
Over-priced till competition came from Suzuki (Maruthi)!

I remember seeing the UK version when I was a child - was it a morris?

A fine and very well-kept Ambassdor - I like the way its decorated - the background got a lot of interesting element as well - thanks Alfred for this lovely view.

An interesting document and a testemony to these cars, through a very well cared-for specimen :)

Alfred, i like this shot about the ambassador. This car is famous in India. I took a picture about the ambassador but i don't know it .
