Nicely composed daily life shot. I think the wider view you show us here is about right for the subject. There's a lot of interesting detail around, and the subject is well placed in the frame.

When I was young I used to fish in small streams using net quite similar to this, except that we tie the top to a pole and we would hold the pole to lower or lift the net. Nice composition and sharpness here. It's nostalgic!

The net seems to be quite small for that type of fishing, have you seen the nets at Cochin, in Kerala, they are huge.
But I suppose a young guy has to start small and work up to the bigger nets.
You sure must have had these peoples confidence, for them to just go on with their daily life.
