I believe they are prayers flags...Nice view of the Kanchenjunga,, i had the chanc eto see it the last day before catching the train down to siliguri..For 30 minutes.... the rain aain!

Simple but powerful composition. I like the mix of vertical and horizontal lines, and the blue is fabulous! The mountain range is magnificent in the background and totally compensates for a bit of "noise".

Good backdrop to this subject. Can't blame you for the lack of wind, I can't help feeling a flutter would have been an improvement, on the other hand, it might have spoiled the striking compo.

A true Trek Earth shot from a place not many people ever visit - even I would like to. Nicely composed image and with an facinating background as well - You realy give us the feeling of height here.

Photo qui ne manque pas d'originalité et d'intérêt, ces mâts dressés en avant-plan sur ces montagnes aux neiges éternelles sont du plus bel effet.
J'aime beaucoup ce camaïeu de bleu qui se marie avec l'arrière-plan.

Hi Chris, good depth of field here to have both the flags and their spectacular background visible, they detach very well over the clear blue sky. Noise is an issue here, but the WS addresses it quite well i think.

This is really nice. Initially I thought, its just some flags, then I saw the background of the mountains and the snow flying off as the wind blows and it really gave a great feel to the picture.

Etonnante composition Chris. Ces mâts enrubannés qui se dressent très haut dans le ciel sont insolites. Très joli le fond du décor avec ces crêtes enneigées.

The impressive mountains in the background make this shot. Nice add on with the flags in the foreground. I like it.

Very good job cropping this one, Chris. The very low roofline in order to understand where the flags are "growing" from, and the impressive snow-capped mountain range in the background. I like the hues of blue and the amount of them all over the frame. The flags of course give a good rhythmic element. A bit noisy but easy to be fixed as we can see in the WS. Beautiful photo.

nice repetition of a motif with the mighty Kanche behind. When I was there, all was "mist", what a pity, but I was done trekking in Nepal so it was OK. Anyway, nice old film tones here.

A brilliant idea well executed. I love the tension between vertical flag poles piercing the blue sky and the horizontal weight of the snow-covered mountains. A great composition. You have included only enough to tell the story and create the pattern, without any extraneous stuff. Bravo!

I like the simplicity of this composition and the way in which the spectacular range of mountains provide a contrasting background in colour and shape to the prayer flags in the foreground. Well spotetd Chris. Cheers . . . David
