Excellent POV, I don't remember having seen the lake from that point and you managed to make me think again - I was not very impressed by that place but the pagoda looks really nice that way ! Just beautiful,

Olá Chris, the name of the lake captured my attention. I've been in Kunming, but not in Beijing...Great composition of the wonderful architecture emerging bettween the trees. I like to see the inclusion of the winding stone handrail in FG, almost as a serpent passing by.

When I see this beautiful picture, I get angry because there was no way to go to the top for this shot, our tour let us see the palace only from near the lake.
