Yes it seems like a very characteristic photo, Ricardo. Nice photo of the bicyclists waiting for the "go" signal, and nice urban surroundings in the back with the buses and highrises. Good scanning quality on this one.

First cows, now bicycles. I think mills, tulips and wooden shoes will follow.
Pictures of all typical Dutch objects, but than photographed outside Holland.
Seem to me a really special theme for a Portuguese :-))

Olá Ricardo,
Una imagen muy gráfica y llena de color de este medio de transporte tan extendido en China, aunque con un gran contraste con el transporte público de los autobuses, más habitual en occidente.
La foto tiene una gran definición, está bien iluminada, tiene buenos colores y un perfecto encuadre.

Interesting photo of daily life Ricardo; bikes and buses but not a car in sight. Oops I've just spotted some through the little shelter type thing. Your scanner seems to have handled this a lot better. I wonder if it is anything to do with the amount of light in the image.

Agradable toma urbana del día a día. Apesar del scanned no se nota a nivel de calidad. Y aunque el cielo esté sobrexpuesto a mi no me molesta nada. Es atractivo ver coo se mueve la gente por la ciudad. La definición está genial.

Bonjour Ricardo,
Ville grouillante, toujours en activité, une vraie fourmilière . Ici, la présence des cyclistes qui semblent attendre avec patience est plus sereine.
Quant aux bicyclettes, c'est encore le moyen de transport le moins polluant de la planète ! ;o)
Très belle prise de vue de la vie quotidienne.

Fico feliz por saber que continua muito activo a brindar-nos com fotos magníficas de culturas tão diferentes da nossa. Esta imagem da "hora de ponta" em Chengdu transmite uma grande sensação de movimento e reúne dois ingredientes antagónicos: a modernidade dos edifícios próprios das grandes cidades e simplicidade quase primitiva do meio de transporte utilizado pelos cidadãos chineses. Talvez por isso mesmo, a sua expressão revele uma felicidade interior que se conseguiu captar na imagem. Perfeita, como de costume... Um abraço amigo e até uma próxima oportunidade!

Hi Ricardo,
I missed this earlier shot in your gallery. You have evidently captured the spirit and flow of traffic in a large city. I like the clarity of detail despite the movement of the bicycles, and also the way you cleverly parallelled the cyclists with the buses, creating a real theme of transportation modes and providing a great extra dash of colour. A very fine daily life shot.

Lovely capture, but Chengdu is changing terribly fast and I guess that there are now much less bicycles in the streets... and fear the time when almost will have his/her own car in that huge country !
Still, it was a good idea to post this photo, as bicycles are certainly not gone totally - personally, I enjoy a lot cycling in the Chinese cities !

Ricardo,
Não me parece muito diferente de alguns lugares do Brasil. Em algumas cidades aqui, como o Rio de janeiro, é possível se atravessar a cidade inteira apenas nas ciclovias. O que está virando praga aqui são as pequenas motocicletas, tipo 125cc, que são produzidas aos milhões por ano.

A tomada, meio que de lateral, ficou muito boa para integrar os ciclistas com o que os cerca, de forma a mostrar um todo. Bela foto, arquiteto.
