[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
A statue of Mao Tse Tung stands high at the Bund in Shanghai. The statue looks proud and happy as it overlooks the progress that has transpired over China's biggest city. The Bund is one of Shanghai's busiest areas especially during night time, when tourists and locals visit the area for various reasons: to shop, to dine, to take photos or to just unwind and enjoy the wonderful lights show.

Hi Alford,
Still in China, my friend... or at least you were a week ago! But I'm not that sure Mao would be happy..?
Very fine composition, good framing and a super exposure!
Greetings,
Pablo -

Bonjour Alford
Joli cliché nocturne de cette immense ville. S'il revenait Mao trouverait sûrement beaucoup de changements.
Merci pour le partage.
Amitiés
Nicole

Hi Alford,
Nice blue hour picture from a side of Shangai much less futuristic that the Pudong views we get to see here, nice perspective following this street lined by elegant buildings, I think you could fix a bit the verticals on the left side here.
Have a nice day,
Jean-Yves

Hi Alford, Yeah, I remember I saw this statue before, a long time ago. I have not been that area for a long time. Thanks for the image to show some parts of the city is the same. Nice blue hour picture and a very well taken perspective view.

Hey Alford. This one turned out great for you. Good job just barely squeezing in the top of the building. You looked to be taking this during the "blue hour". Very nice one Alford!

Hi Alford,
Your wonderful photos cure my homesickness. I enjoyed your creative catching in my hometown.
One note for this photo - the statue isn't Mao Tse Tung; that is Shanghai's first mayor of Mao's government. He was a great mayor, and Shanghai people want to remember him.
-Myles

Hi Alford,
I think Myles was right about the fact. That statue was not of Mao's, but the first mayor of Shanghai in the PRC regime. I dont think Shanghaiese would love the statue as much if it was a Mao statue.
