I like your shot up the river, framed by the rocks, getting closer until the river bends and it seems to dissapear in the haze. Soft colors enhance the atmosphere!

I did this cruise in 2002. Good idea to go to the baack of the boat to avoid the crowds at the front. I like the lighting color & mood of the Chang Jiang (Long River). Parabens!

Great atmosphere here and the readish sky is magic. Good framing and a good composition to create impact. It's a shame what is happening to this scenery which will be lost forever. What a disaster!

A well composed shot of this famous river. I like how you have captured the expansive mood of the river and its rich chocolate brown colour. One can imagine oneself on a boat travelling forward into the frame and gazing up at the interesting hills and mountains. Very well done.

This is a very particular and attrctive landscape with this lemon colors for the river and sharp cliffs falling into the river.
Grandiose and a chinese version of "LA RIVIERE SANS RETOUR" ( a great film).

I wish I was there with you. I really must organize a trip to China this year. Great and soft colors of the Yangtze: I would have added some more contrast with PS perhaps I am not sure.

ps. I was in Izmir the whole week, and in Bergama (Pergamon ) you simply cannot imagine the quantity of pretty and friendly cats which were on the streets.. You call them ( In Turkey we say" psss, pss," and they simply run and jump into your arms: As a cat lover like yoıu I was very excited to caress them all the time. Izzet

I´m studying chinesse right now because I want to reach a deep knowledge of this country before visit it. But photos like this one makes me want to go right now, I like the framing, with the black up and down, giving more sense of look, like we were on board this boat. Parabens Ricardo and obrigado.

Paisagem magnifica! Infelizmente há povos e culturas que na marcha do “progresso” não aprendem com os erros dos outros e só quando sofrerem gravemente as suas consequências vão entender os alertas que lhes faziam…

Quanto à paisagem é realmente magnífica. Não só pelas escarpas mas pela forma como a luz difusa acentua a distância entre eles trazendo muita profundidade à imagem.

Wonderful capture of what is becoming a very famous location. This captures a series of layering which is not often seen. We would all like the river to be blue or green but this silt goes on to help make other areas fertile, so we can forgive that.

Going thru your old images, I was fascinated by this one. I like the layers formed by the mountains & the lack of colours except the subtle golden (?) hue in the image. The borders of the image also look natural..are they?
