Photographer's Note

Still in Munigou valley..

The valley's best-known feature is its dozens of crystal clear blue, green and turquoise coloured pools. Originating in glacial activity, they are dammed by rockfalls then solidified by processes of carbonate deposition.

Some lakes have a high concentration of calcium carbonate, and their water is extremely clear that the bottom is always visible. This tranquil place is also home to a number of plant species, such as endemic
varieties of rhododendron and bamboo.

From my photo walk about, picture of crystal clear blue pool not a far away Sibazicun village.
