Insignificant mosque's dome dwarfed by nature, we will never tame it - the gigantic Pamir Mountain Range and their hardy rocks to make an existence and you'd need to be as hardy as the native Uyghur, Tadjik and
Khirgiz to survive in this harsh and isolated looking environment at 3700m above sea level.

Shot from a vantage point near Alichur village, on my early morning shooting spree. The dapple light spilling from behind my back was just beautiful and I chose to zoom in and create a tad of layered image
compressing the perspective, giving the feeling of isolation...

Setting: 135 mm, 1/160 sec, F14, ISO Raw 100, 0737 hrs & polarised
