Hello Peter,
I can believe that the stream was man-made for the Chinese are excellent at providing water for irrigation.
You commanded an excellent viewpoint to obtain such a clear, birds'-eye view, detailing the curving path of the stream and the lush greenery on its banks.

A breath taking aerial image with an agreeable brown & green combination showing some amazing patterns, detail and formations on the farmland below. Meandering river gives a lively additional colour and it must have been a wonderful experience you had up there! A fine shot worth the climb, Congrats.
