I liked the graphism here waiting at the west gate to Angkor Wat for the sunset. The crowds here were only about a 1/10 of the size of those at the east gate.

Hi Chris.

Nice view. I like the composition. Maybe needs a little more definition but, anyway, I like the view of this temple.

Rgs, Oscar

The lovely lights of this picture gives to it a magical atmosphere and fits well with the beauty of this place, really well done Chris, compliments!!

have a nice week,
Fabio.

Hi Chris, the temple looks magnificent in your wonderful shot, framed by nice elements, esp. the silhouettes. TFS! Daniel

Good Pov, and a nice arrangement framed by the trees. Yes, certainly the quite end, but when I tried to cycle through that way from the road that runs east, up towards the Bayon, they turned me back at the gate, seems to be for locals only using transport.

Nice composition and perspective with warm colours and good framing with the branches of the tree.
Well seen and composed!
Well done!

hi Chris

what a superb mood and colors here the play between shadows and light are perfect.
cheers
greg

Hi Chris, good and different view of Angkor Wat.
took from an unusual POV with a beautiful view on the temple.
thanks, ciao

Hi Chris

great pov here, the composition so interesting i think it could have a little nore definition but it´s a great view
regards
manuel

Hi Chris! This amazing structure is very well framed with the trees and branches overhead. It's a bit overexposed in the sky areas, but the composition works very nicely.

Great light in this shot! The bright sky really makes the shapes of the temple stand out very well. I also like the light on the ground in front of the the stairs, which goes from light to dark in an interesting way. Great work!

Hi Chris,
The foreground treatment here is remarkable and alluring. There is warmth and a little softness that is appropriate to give the shot an artistic appeal. The large tree on the right provides good balance. There is a little loss of definition on the building resulting from the scan and the rather hazy sky, but overall a very good shot.

I think you found a different POV. I love the framing by the trees and the late light has enhanced the foreground. Like my lastest posts, the sky lets it down a bit, but it is still a fine image.

not an easy one Chriks,
but I like the result with this extreme backlight, the composition is well taken, good job.

Hi Chris - nicely framed with the native vegetation, the inclusion of the sugar palms was a great idea, and sufficient details on the building despite the backlighting.

Hi Chris,
Not easy to take under the difficult light conditions but the details caame out really good, nice capture of the mood too.
Greetings,
Hermann

Hi Chris. I like the composition the wide angle yields. The colors look a little off to me. Maybe b/w would be a better option here? tfs Chris.

Hello Chris,
I like the light on the bottom of your picture but there is too much blank sky over the ruins, I think it is finally well balanced. However the place is so beautiful, I have to visit it one day.

Hi Chris.
Nice place and composition. But is a pity the sky... is so "empty".
Anyway, interesting photo.

Chris,
I do not know...
I felt that the lighting was little too high towards the horizon!. And then I felt it is pure magic the way it is used to ligh the citadel & steps!..
I think this magic is what I need to learn from you, among many other things!.
I wonder whether I can do that?!
Cheers,
Prem.

Hi Chris, this is a wonderful picture from Angkor. The back light is not that over-exposed, but kind of smooth and light. It compensates very well with the color of the ground. A unique look. Sothy
