Not always easy to photograph this kind of artwork, but I think this rendition of the intricate details is one of the better examples. Very rich in contrast and textures, and the depicted scenes make for an interestin viewing. Well done, Chris.

Hi Chris,

Nicely presented image and a great note. It was v difficult for me to get a decent image of these carvings since it was either overwhelmed by tourists, or, on second visit, the light wasn't good enough to get a decent result. Travelling without a tripod didn't help my cause much either! :-(

Well done. I hope you were as captivated with that place as me and my family.

A good capture of that aincent artwork - you got the photo with a good light from the side, giving us a lot of shadows in the image - thanks Chris for letting us see this.

Not easy to take, you need the right light to get all the texture and the carvings balanced to each others, you did fine here.
