Hi Chris, I like here the shooting angle you have chosen, many details of this superb architecture appear well, sharpness is great, light seems to have been quite hard. A nice addition to TE !

A excellent note Chris, it's a beautiful photograph, but I must look at something longer. Nicely between the two trees one sees the old temple, the colours of the construction toes are very beautiful and gentle, excellent composition too!

Ruins.. The most I like.. Perfect shot Chris. All the details are perfectly visible. So sad it's never finished. Good choice of framing with the trees. Also the angle you chose increase the depth and shows the architecture very good under the this color of sky. Well done and thanks for sharing...

Il y a une histore amusante sur Angkor Vat au début du siècle , celui qui fut un de nos plus grand écrivain ( Auteur de "la Condition Humaine" ) et le 1er et notre plus grand ministre de la culture dans les années 60-ties : André MALRAUX , fut pris étant . bien plus jeune . la main dans le sac entre train de voler des antiquités à Angkor Vat .
Comme quoi L'ame humaine change ..:-)

Classical composition of this temple, Chris, with a good use of the trees as fraing devices, and a detailed rendition of the architectural features. It must be really an impressive sight to see it "live". Good shot, interesting notes.

Thanks for showing us this interesting site, Chris. This looks like a place I would have enjoyed as a kid. Climbing around, imagine all sorts of adventures, perhaps find a forgotten treasure :-) .

A nice and very interesting architecture, and a very good note, Chris. I like the natural tree framing and the details of this temple.
I think that I'll crop it a bit and try to improve the levels. see my WS.

This reminds me of a scene from "the Jungle book" - all I miss are Mogwli and Balooh :-) Great sight even the temple in real poor condition - thanks Chris for taking us here - I like the sight.

Great temple! Really precious. I like the POV, but I think that cropping just a bit from the top would place the temple higher in the composition a creating a stronger feelnig. Also reducing the highlights and contrasts could balance better the light in the image turning it softer. The strong contrast with very intricate details of the monument make it hard to look at them.

Very nice view of this mythic and mystical place ! The light might be attenuated in order to have more saturated colors, but this picture is still nice! Good work !
