Photographer's Note

Taken at the Bokor hill station. An abandoned french hill station at an alitude of 1080m and known for its cool climate, secluded waterfalls and jungle views. The hill station was twice abandoned: first when Vietnamese and Khmer Issarak (Free Khmer) forces overran it in the late 1940's while fighting for independance, and then in the early 1970's when the Lon Nol regime left it to the Khmer Rouge forces that were steadily taking over the countryside. It has since remained uninhabited, except for the presence of either Vietnamese troops or Khmer Rouge during much of the 80's and 90's.
-Information from Lonely Planet Cambodia
You can reach the Hill station which is in the Bokor National Park from the town of Kampot.
I decided to leave the grainy effect as I thought it suited the shot.
