[Notas - Normas] Nota do Artista
I count 7 people working on the raft of plywood at the back. Taken from a bridge near the International airport. The river is a part of the delta of the Ganges River, and not a waterway I would choose to work in.

The green plant floating in the river, is water hyacinth.

The delta water color is looking good. You will find similar muddy color water at many deltas. The raft making process is good and let us know how they work. I think they uses water to wet the logs and then turning the logs is easy.
Thanks for sharing this informative shot.

Nice POV. The people going on with their daily lives allow us to see how big these boats actually are. Nice work.
Mark

Always nice to see boats in a compo, and the daily life scene going on around these is interesting. I think your PP isn't at best here, the contrast is so extreme that the detail in the shadows is lost. Still nice overall compo.

Hi Chris,
I just can't resist clicking this one. The rocks in the middle of the river does helped to balance the scene and the boats are well positioned. I enjoyed the activities going on here as they are well depicted. Great shot!! All the best.

Nice perspective, Chris. I like the guys in the water next to the boats. Nice POV and composition. Nino

Hi My Friend

great daily life pic, the pov is perfect and the colors nice

tks to share and have a great sunday

Hi Chris
Great image. The scale is incredible, in the thumbnail I didn't really spot the people, and perceived the boats to be much smaller than they actually are. Lots of activity and detail and well exposed in the bright conditions.
Good shot.
Peter

Hi Chris,
interesting daily-life shot. Harh working in bad conditions.
I like the composition. The contrast is complicated. The left part seems a little overexposed.

Thanks and regards, Gerrit

Hi Chris,
Good capture of a moment of somebodies' daily life. Some of them are very well aware of your existence here..:)) Well done...
Regards
Bulent

Hi Chris. The addition of all the people certainly adds a lot of interest to the overall scene. The muddy water seems realistically portrayed. We can feel the heat in this one. Nice catch Chris.

Guten Morgen Chris,
quite a different water you show here :-)
Hard manual work to cope with all the tree trunks getting unloaded and brought into the mill.

Hi Chris,
Again a beautiful environment, excellent lovely dely life picture with the people in water beneath, perhaps a little bit overexpose to the above, but I enjoy again with this image!
Best regards,
John.

I like these cultural shots, with the window into how things are done in other countries. I remember working in a sawmill in Canada when I was a teenager, but it was nothing like this. Great work Chris!

Hi Chris,
An interesting shot taken from a superb POV. You have really captured a slice of daily life here. The muddy water, the busy people, and the prevailing brown tones, create an odd ambience. This is indeed the life of these people, and one wonders about their future. The two boats nicely complement one another. Well captured, Chris. A real contribution to the mission of TE.
John

Chris,
Your perspective & detail are nice...I would have liked to exclude the overexposed area on the top, but that is my preference only.

namashkar chris,
looking at the shot at the first glance one might think the color is a bit off or washed out. but i know better , you've captured the light and color in its originality.
good details.
