Wow this is a very cool photo, and I think not having the whole boat makes it very dynamuc, as if it is in motion and will move right out of my monitor.
Particularly like the person who appears to be sleeping.

Salut Chris,
Tu fais bien de t'expliquer car sans quoi tu aurais eu de nombreuses critiques pour avoir coupé l'arrière du bateau. ;-))
La diagonale est parfaite. Mais j'apprécie surtout le reportage de tes photos.

Very nice view from the bridge, chris. There are not a lot of picture of Bangladesh that is seen here as one the more poor in Asia.
The framing is diagonal is excellent. Bravo!

Quick thinking, for an extraordinary subject. I'm not too bothered about the back og the boat here, the rest of it is well framed. It looks like a very finely balanced load.

To bad about the back of the photo Chris, but it's still a very good photograph. The angle in wich you took this, it give a great feel to this. Very interesting the kind of work that they are doing. It seems like the boat is just bearlly floating.
Thanks for this one.

Fun title, and good compositional diagonal for this shot, Chris. Having the back of the boat included would make it brilliant, but this is still a very good catch of the boat carrying this very interesting load. Well done.

Excellent catch, Chris , and a very nice title..
I like the angle of shooting and the dynamic iagonal line of the boat. Yes, you needed a wider angle herefor better results, but still, a very good shot.

The diagonal view of the boat is a very good point of view, Chris! I like the movement effect of the waters, it disturbs the calm river. The boat with sand and people is very interesting, it's only now I learned about such business/trade. Another sharp composition! Informative notes, too! rgds.

Excellent shot Chris. I understand that changing lenses is really difficult while visiting a country and that could be good to have another camera with different lens ;o
But you compo is really good.
You did a good one.

Sober diagonally composed boat , very good background coloring of the water with the waves to enforce target, just missing the back part of the ship but not disturbend, well done Chris.

nice angle .. its alright if you couldn't capture the entire boat.. this is more than enough. i like the shades of brown in this picture and the ripples formed by the boat.
looks like the men are carrying cooking utensils :)

Bonjour Chris,
Une bonne prise de vue. J'aime bien cet angle de vue par le dessus. C'est très intéressant de nous proposer cette vision d'une activité quelque peu originale sur la rivière. Une bonne image, bravo!

Chris,
Glad you did not change the lens. Great shot - the movement in the water is great, and you can tell that the boat is heavily loaded.

Nice shot Chris;
The photo leaves me wondering why they would have a boat laden with so much sand? You would think that where ever they may be taking it would suirely also have sand?
Nice shot, I like it..

You did a fine job as usual - no problem with the lenses - even you missed the boat end - I like the way the colour of the water matches the sand - thanks Chris.

I like this photo very much, it is amazing! It gives me the impression as if the boat was sliding on a desert intead of floating on the water!
Anyway, it is very clear and sharp! I love it!

A photo of Bangladesh in your randoms ! And so interesting, although just a simple boat dividing the water... Love the high POV and all the details to be seen here, having the nostalgia of that country, so great to dream for a while of the delta over there...
TFS !
Cath.
