Photographer’s Note
same girl i post her portrait before. found this one and post it with the same girl again. she actually squats outside of the classroom and was doing their exam. i was waiting for a while to catch her face from 15 yards away. of course she doesn't want to be in the camera because as a female, their parents told them do not show their face to stranger, even though they are still young. most of these girl are scaring and uncomfortable of my existing over there. i felt sorry to interrupt their normal life, but i won't let this chance to go away, especially to show what the real life is over there. Parwan and Barmiyan provinces are the most safety area in this country. its till to last year though. hope their life will getting better with our wishes.

Hi, Jean-Paul. I like the expression on the girl's face: she doesn't seem very happy to be photographed and she shows it with her large dark eyes, it is a very spontaneous portrait. There is a nice contrast between her red garment and her scarf.
Have a nice day,
Philippe

Hi JeanPaul
A nice portrait that I would not spontaneously associate with Afghanistan,I like the expression a bit surprised or possibly offended

Bonjour Jean-Paul.
Ce portrait est magnifique. Quel est l'avenir de ces enfants qui n'ont connu que la guerre ? Les filles surtout ont de quoi s'inquiéter !
Une très belle photo !
Amical salut !

Olá Jean-Paul, beautiful framing of this lovely face nicely wrapped up in her scarf. I can see she's a bit aprehensive but the result is very good.

Hi Jean Paul,
It is a great portrait of this girl. Her look and the expression of her face notice us that it is a very spontaneous, difficult and very well-resolved capture.
For what future can she hope in her country under war? I like your photo, it have vitality and a bit of sadness also.
Best regards,
Josep

who doesn't want to capture his own "Afghan Girl", who?
reading your insightful note, i appreciate you on your respect for their closed life style. yet you were also so honest, confessing us about your "photographer's chance which cannot be let to go away".
i am happy that the girls can go to school after the taliban regime. maybe now the society is recovering after so many years of invasion and war.
best wishes,
deniz
