Photographer’s Note
when i visited a school that day, i was taking photo with the principle. i suddenly saw this old man was acting "cool" pose, i then "freeze" this moment. he didn't see i took this photo, so he wasn't acting. it was a natural reaction and i am happy i kept it in my camera. it was original color photo, i converted it to B&W. hope you like it.

Hello Jean-Paul,
It's really a very nice portrait of this man and the picture is well composed.
I wonder how it would look like in colour.
Best regards, Paul

Hello J-P!
One of the best portraits I have seen in a long time! Excellent tight framing, great composition, great "natural" take, posture and expresion! Perfect choice of b&w!

Hi Jean Paul.
With more sharpness you would have a superb landscape... in fact, now is a very good work, but I think you could improve it.
Regards.

Bonjour Jean-Paul
Cet homme a été bien saisi et son portrait est excellent. Aucune pose mais le regard est expressif et la lumière détache les traits.
Une réussite !
Amical salut !

Hi Jean Paul,
This is an immaculate timing for the photo, you look like being so close to him, yet since he has not recognized you, i guess you were using a tele. The light is coming from his back, so the "whiteness" of his cheek is an interesting light result. Also the cap (takke) in his hand completes the compo with his hand on his head.
All the best,
Deniz

The use of B&W is definitely a plus here, it makes this portrait even more exotic. Good reflexes to catch this on the fly.
