Photographer’s Note
In the aftermath of the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan many years ago it is not hard to find many reminders of what a desperate time it was for all. The image is of two stripped semi-tractor frames set on end and buried to hold up the tank that they used to tow.

Really good shot. The BW is obviously the best choice for such a picture!!!
May be I would have centered the tower a bit or put on the either right or left side but it is ok like that too. Or may be you have had your reasons why it is not centered ( a tree or something, whatever)
Very good shot!!!
Thanks for sharing!!!

Very interesting, a great B&W shot! I'm not so convinced about the cropping, though. I would expect some more space above the tank somehow...

Hi Sean,
Though this photo has some charm I tend to agree with Andreas ("drayde") regarding the cropping. I think you could have chosen another angle, so that the background mountain doesn't get "cut". Maybe closer and lower with a lower focal (maybe you tried already and didn't work?). And the antenna in the background is a bit distracting (maybe it was difficult to avoid it?).
But anyway, it still diserve a point ;-)
See you!
Vincent
