Photographer's Note

This garden-of-eden-ish place is the Tarangire river in the national park with the same name. Apart from a couple of hippo pools, this is the only water source for the park's animals, hence they have to come by at least once every one or two days depending on body water storage abilities.

As you can imagine, this makes the life of the predators much easier, and you will see lions, leopards, etc hanging out at its banks between meals.
