Photographer's Note
A scanned image from visits to the souks in Marrakech medina showing this laborious textile dye worker who appeared to be totally oblivious to the things going on around him with much concentration while displaying his excellence in his craft which must be a hard skill to acquire. Just a small glimpse into the life in the maddening souks, the unique manual dyeing process - a tradition passed down by generations, illustrating a piece of Morocco’s rich cultural heritage.
I was watching patiently from some distance and so impressed with his dedication that made me to capture the fleeting moment through a small window of the view finder.
I don't know how far I have achieved making it good.

Hello Abmdsudi,
You captured the man well at a totally non-posing moment. He looks completely absorbed by his work and you cropped the photo to a very neatly tight shape. The colours don't seem to have lost any of their original tones through scanning, but looking very closely on the man's face I think I see traces of post-processing, especially on his forehead and cheekbones that look a bit flat. I often notice that in my own photos after using the "despeckle".
Kind regards,
Gert

Dear Abmdsudi
An excellent photo of this artist at work. The concentration and the sense of movement as his hands work, are palpable. Beautiful rich colours and well-judged shallow depth of field.
Warmest wishes, thanks for sharing

Hard working man, his face is concentrated and without a smile, I think this photo is very emotional

Hello Abmdsudi,
you captured both the movement and the expression in a superb way, the human interest is great, the traditional practice is well displayed and there's an attractive graphic quality too. The dark colours set off the bright ones very effectively. This fleeting moment seems to have depth. Congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great day,
Ourania

It is a very good capture and documentation of the daily life of people. He does look distracted but the concentration is apparent from the look on his face. I like the effect of the slow speed, blurring the textile while the rest are sharp. Wonderful colors in spite of this being a scan. Well done, tfs.

Hi dear Abmdsudi YTH
The most appropriate shutter speed setting makes this greatest shot. Face is clear focus and tixitiles are blurred, so appealing image as usual.
All the best and have a good day! Takero

Hello Abmdsudi.
Yep, you've achieved outstanding portrait of this man taking photo in full working concentration, manipulating that piece of cloth in preparation for tinted. His jersey gives a nice colorful chromaticism.
Nice color, in these natural tones.
Too much sharpness, such as lighting are great.
Well taken photo. I like
Enjoy a good day.
Best wishes.

Hello Abmdsudi,
The motion blur on the stick and the fabric are charming. The colors of his sweater beckon the would-be viewers. Nice use of selective focus.
