Photographer's Note

After two road driving from Marrakech, we arrive at the final destination of our trip in the south of Morocco : Merzouga dunes. These dunes of sand reach 150 metres height and are the highest in Morocco. Every people that went there will confirm it is a place of outstanding beauty ! A place you should go at least once in your life !

About this photo (and the next ones) ... We arrived at our night camp in the late afternoon. After we left our luggage and drunk the welcome mint tea, we went for a ride on camels to go to the top of the dunes and enjoy the sunset. I was on the first camel of our small caravan, the perfect place to photograph the very friendly Mohamed that guided us to the top of the dunes. Not so easy to take this picture ... The camel stirred, so you had to use one hand to hang and the other one to take the picture. I took a lot of bad photos, but I loved this one with the shadows on the left.
