Photographer’s Note
The town of El Jadida lying just south of Casablanca is quite laid back with a nice small fortified Portuguese city dating from the 16th century, as well as a nice beach. This is one of the views from the ramparts of the old walls over the Atlantic ocean. I liked how small the people looked in relation to the vast ocean.

Hi Wanda,
so this time it seems like you decided to grant your 5D a little break. The whole mood of the image is great, the B&W matches wonderful with the image and these small people give a nice feeling for the dimensions. Perfect use of the rules of third!

this is a really different kind of photo, taken with your Pentx and I like it a lot. The small people are wonderful and the b/w adds interest to this composition.

Wanda: I don't think anyone could really get a sense of the scale presented in this image from the thumbnail - great contrasts and your tiny figures are so sharp that they pose a salient relief in this canvas. congrats. c

Hello Wanda! I can't stop liking these "petit approaches" with the tiny tiny bit of people and the wide open space and I find it helps to understand the dimension of places and the forces of nature. So you work with Ilford film material ... I took my Minolta out some months ago, it is a slower process and you think three times before clicking. With digital everything goes fast and furious, sometimes with not much thinking ... but this is how it goes. I really like this one, you have produced a great mood. Best regards ... Barbara.
