Photographer’s Note
This monday, the 26th of january, our convoy drived from Nouadhibou to Nouakchott, the mauritanian capital.
As we were late with troubles in Tangier, we couldn't cross the bench of Arguin and have to take the road next to it, opened in 2006, to go faster.
These dunes gave us a glimpse of the bench we had on our right (less the ocean), going to Nouakchott.
Another time maybe...

Bonjour Yannis

Hi Yannis,
I like this type of severe landscapes... I think that desert instructs the human being in respect and submissiveness... Mauritania is for me very enigmatic country, I would like to visit it in the future...
I like composition and contrast of colours between diunes and the sky. Simple but good shot.
Best regards,
Andrzej
