Photographer's Note

Traditional hut in the bush, MALAWI.
The ossature is made of bamboos and branches tied with vegetable fibers.
Women help to fit the wet mud on walls,applied by hands.
The roof is constitued in tall grass(named elephant grass)
Huts are square or rectangular.
Differents types of walls are builded:
Simple mud (without ossature).
Mud dried bricks.
True Bricks becoming red and strong by cooking in a big outside oven.
On the center of the picture it's a maize store.
Left is toilet.
I know this picture has not a good quality, it's a scan of paper photograph.
I want to show what I have seen during my long stay in Malawi.
