Photographer's Note

This tiny Malagasy village lies on the very remote Masoala Peninsula, in the far east of Madagascar. The place is very difficult to reach and is mainly visited by biolgists and scientist who study the precious forests, belonging to the top 3 biodiversity hotspots of the world. In fact the nature on this place is so rare that a cooperation was started with zurich zoo to ensure conservation, and a miniature version of the Masoala National Park was created there.

We came along this tiny village after a long walk and i was deeply impressed with the scenery. Im think the picture gives has good feel of this magical place.
