Hi David,
Interesting how these creatures can use the grass as disguise. Nice image and very well framed. The colours seem natural and good thing you had a good distance in between. Cheers :-)

Hi Dave
Envy you so much, I have just got to get to Africa and see this for myself one day!! Natural Cheetah pose with great colours and detail. Excellent National geographic capture :-)

hello David
Very soothing color tone of faded look in this capture. Good to see the spotted body of this cheetah and the tall grass to make it such attractive picture.

Hi David, you were lucky to see one at such close range. nice tight shot showing lots of detail. His face is perhaps a little soft, but maybe sharpening further would have caused problems in the grass? cheers, Steve

Lucky you. We could not see any in Zambia and Botswana. This is a great photo and the Cheetah seems to be in the first phase of a hunting run. How far away were you?

Hi David,
Great safari feeling. Fast cat on long hay. This shows how well the camouflage colour works. You were lucky!

Hello David
Good use of DOF to isolate the majestic animal. The tall grasses act as an effective camouflage for this agile hunter. The quality of the picture is superb David...well done!
