This is an awesome view and also a beautiful picture. I have seen similar flocks of flamingos in Angola, but much smaller number of birds. The best view I ever had was one day when a quite large group of pink flamingos took off just in front of us. It was simply wonderful. It is a great photo, David, and worthwhile the trouble to get it. Well done.

Hi David
This is a great shot of flamingoes on the lake. I love the positioning of the 3 birds flying above the mass of pink activity below. Well captured.

Hi David,
I love the pink everywhere also on the water, what makes the shot for me though are the three low flying flamingos over the rest. Wonderful scene.

Hi Dave, excellent shot of these flamingos. The colour found on the birds, and very nicely reflected in that water is very good. I especially like the colour seen on the flyers, under the wing. You don't normally see that. The shot is well composed with great sharp clarity throughout.
Thanks, John

Beautiful animals caught in avery nice way with a few flying over the others. Great catch.
Hi David, great capture of this majestic birds. I thought it may look a little better if the far shore was a bit less dark though and did a WS. See what you think. Cheers, Steve

Hi David,
You travel far and wide don't you. I remembered the last time I commented your Indian work. Now, this is Kenya.
Captivating. Good thing you didn't scare them off or upset their composure or else you wouldn't be getting this. Great thing to have the 200mm and being able to get as close as you could to the waterline. The mute cliff backdrop helps very much exposing the colors of the birds and the glazed reflection at bottom part of the photo.
The flyby of the 3 flamingos is a bonus.

Gorgeous shot, I like the contrast with the dark bg, I see you went during the recent political unrest, I wonder if it's still safe to go there.
