You caught the ocean's fury very well, Sylvie, certainly the "decisive moment!" I expect to see "The Raft of the Medusa" (from the painting) wash up at any minute. The light is great, very painting-like, and placing the surf against the large cliffs works very well. Regards, Ken.

Tes photos du Cap Vert sont très belles.
Parmi celles que tu as postées jusqu'à présent, celle-ci est ma préférée. La lumière est géniale et on sent vraiment la présence inquiétante de l'océan. Je pense que cela a dû être un très beau voyage !

That's a wonderful capture Sylvie, I love it.
I find incredibly beautiful the layer effect gave by the mountain in the distance, it creates an interesting contrast with the rage of the sea.

Sylvie, j'ai découvert cette photo sur la 1ère page de TE aujourd'hui et je suis tombée en arrêt devant cette beauté : surtout toute la partie droite de la photo, avec les montagnes qui s'estompent au loin, c'est vraiment très atmosphérique... en cachant avec un papier les maisons à gauche, mais en gardant seulement les 2 ou 3 dernières (les plus éloignées), il m'a paru que l'oeil était moins distrait...
En tous cas, tu étais là au bon moment et on voit que tu connais bien ces belles îles !
