Photographer's Note
During the wonderful days I just spent in Cape Verde islands, I was in the magic island of Santo Antao.
This was taken in the little town of Ponta do Sol, north of the island, at the port, at the end of the day, faced to the immensity of the ocean and the sky !
Santo Antao is one of 10 islands of Cape Verde, at the north west.
I am still there in mind, a very special place to me.

Very simple and very effective composition. The clouds are amazing. The shot was timed to perfection with the colours of the setting sun and enough daylight remaining for the waves to be visible.

Your foto has nice colors and a good sharpness in the sky.I like the clouds.

Wonderful sky, over a wonderful island.
Of the Cape-Verdean islands I know, Santo Antão (or Sintanton, in Cape-Verdean language) has the most extraordinary landscapes.

Eh, bien Sylvie, c'est merveilleux. Je connais le lieu très bien. J'ai passé beaucoup de soirées agréeables à observer les pêcheurs en sirotant un peu de leur alcool produit à partir de la canne à sucre... pas mal pour écouter Cesaria Evora aussi

Sylvie, for those who know your urban pace, this is a brilliant series, I am delighted with it.
The name "ponta do sol" makes a lot of sense in your picture.
