Nice picture of this smiling fisherman. I like here the red colour of his pants, boat and nets. Well spotted. So this is probably the beginning of you new trip and pictures. I am looking forward to seeing more from Cape Verde.

Hello Jean,
A very nice view down the narrow beach which is full of colourful boats and nets with very eye-catching tones. The green of the overhanging trees adds to the colour palette very nicely. Excellent inclusion of the smiling fisherman too.

Hello Jean,
A very appealing composition with lots going on, but not at all overly busy. The smiling fisherman is well placed and makes a lovely focal point. Well framed and ideally exposed with superb colours and clarity.

I was in Sal Island and I think that Cabo Verde islands are "dark", very good shot very well composed, I want to be here.

Hello Jean,

This is a delightful shot!
It immediately made me smile in response to the happy, friendly nature of the fisherman.
I like how well you have been able to include the warm colours, on the nets, on the boats and on the fisherman's trousers, all working to unite the scene in warmth.
The focal figure and his boat are nicely off-centre and the whole scene is well exposed.

Bonjour Jean, an excellent shot that includes the laughing man as he sorts out his fishing nets.
