quelle vue ces branche de cactus en premier plan et les bouts tout pointus et quelle vue sur la ville en fond et ces tons orange presque rouge cette route qui serpetne la ville quel ensemble sueprbe.

A fine expansive view over this part of the island. The cacti are very well included, supplying contrasting colour and serving to give the composition depth and perspective. Excellent colours and clarity despite the hazy atmosphere.

Awesome viewpoint. I like how the roads snakes through the orange brown landscape. And the sea adds interest to the background. Green leaves provide excellent framing.

very beautiful vertical compo. the city ahead looks larger that I thought. nice view of this arid fields, a great contrast with the name, anyway the name was a reference to a cape in seashore of africa, not the islands. haha.

L'étendue de l'endroit donne de la profondeur à la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de cette partie de Sao Vicente. La brume légère ne nuit pas au rendu des couleurs. Bonne journée.

Despite the name, the scenery depicted here is not so verdant. The spiky agave-like plant adds depth and layering to the composition and frames well the spectacular backdrop. Tfs!

Comme tu le dis si bien dans ton titre, le vert, il faut le chercher. A part des feuilles pointues à l'avant plan c'est la rouille qui gagne.Grâce à la hauteur du point de vue on voit très loin malgré l'humidité dans l'air.

Hello Jean,
Magnificent view from the highest point on the island, the curving road take the viewer towards the town on the seafront. But, the most attraction on this picture is the pink tint of the land, marvelous outcome on picture.

You have used those f/g leaves to great effect!
They anchor the f/g with bright clarity, to create this vast sense of depth across the ochre hill and the white city, to the hazy sea.

Je dirais que la ville de Mindelo est très allongée. Ou est-ce juste une impression? La plupart du littoral me semble construit.
La couleur de la terre est fantastique. Mais tellement infertile.
Les plantes au premier plan ajoutent une autre couleur supplémentaire.
Quel paysage étonnant!

Cape Verde must be like Morocco. We went there in March and I could not believe how green it was! Those who named the island must have seen it in the rainy season.

although you select the beach destinations you always show so many other aspects of these destinations. You must be very active in traveling around them.
Breath taking view here well framed with agaves on both sides.
Interesting color dominates the view indeed, definitely far from green.
