Yeah, and he's become that big lady's lover too, I suppose, LOL! Ironic title for sure, but more than that, beautiful, vibrant shot, superbly timed as the lady opens her mouth in song or in a shout. Framing, color, all work for me.

Good catch, both the bar and the woman.
This isn't just a funny name for the bar, and it isn't a spelling coincidence, for sure. The owner was certainly using the name because it is known. You know, the people from São Vicente island are traditonally very open to the world (as you maybe has noticed). I was there several times but I didn't see the Bar Taliban, but it's no surprise. There is also a neighbourhood known as Tchetchénia (Chechnya), that got its name when Chechnya was often in the news.
