Photographer's Note
Mindelo is the biggest city of Sao Vincente island with around 80000 inhabitants. The city can be regarded as the cultural capital of Cabo Verde. One of its most famous residents was the now passed Cesaria Evora. Seen here is a part a few kilometers out of the city center, where Mindelo gets hilly. It is a must see for a visitor to Cabo Verde, at least for those who are willing to leave the tourist enclaves of Sal and Boa Vista.
Pleas forgive me for the tight crop over the buildings in the top middle. The shot was taken out of a small window above was a rooftop...

Your tight cropping works well here and makes it a good composition.
I remember well the mixture of differrent archtitecture in this fast changing town.
Some have the money to finish the facade,some Don`t have it.
Your shot brings back good memories to my two times I stayed there.

Hello Franz,
Every picture has his charm, certainly picture are very subjective, for the one wonderful, an other viewer completely bad.
First have to you as photographer your picture find excellent, this is very important, I find your image very well, we see a lot with a high quality.
Perspective and depth are excellent done.

really colourful the painting of the local houses with some of them to are new and the most old ones.
I like the excellent light and colourful management as the clarity of the image.
