As I said in a previous post Cape Vert is among other things know for its fabulous fish.
This is a front view of the type of boat which is use for sail fishing.
In this particular bay at S. Vicente Island fishermen seems to appreciate roast chicken too.. ;-)

Esta também está interessante, mas na outra vê-se melhor os barcos e o local.
A propósito, na localização acima escolheste "Baia das Gaitas"; sugiro que corrijas para "Baia das Gatas".
(Estas gatas são uma espécie de pequeno tubarão inofensivo).

Hello Rui -
Like your other post I like the strong colors but the colors are a bit flat and the image looks a bit under exposed. Was the sky really that dark and dull? Try resetting the WB and add a bit of contrast.

Good title. The chicken certainly adds a touch of humour to the scene. Your low POV was a good idea, almost filling the frame with the boats and making the image different from the norm.

Hi Rui,
Artistically your prior boat photo works better for me. This one provides more documentary detail showing the individual boards of the boats, the litter on the beach and that chicken. In Tahiti, chickens ran everwhere, so I do associate chickens with tropical beaches. They were seemingly unmolested, so I wondered if they were too tough to eat. Guess that's not true in Cape Verde.
