I would presume you are talking about the Chinese fruit used heavily in their cooking. Anyway you can see the massive build on this dog. I would hope that he would be my friend on a visit. Nice memories for sure.

Hi Jimmy,
Yes, the litichis are the Chinese fruit, but the Sao Paulo region has an ideal climate for raising them. We had about 2000 plants, which kept Cadou busy in the harvest season when there was a lot of trespassing. Despite Cadou's awesome appearance, he was a gentle dog who rarely barked and never bit anyone. His intrepid demeanor was sufficient to dissuade. Remember...his race was bred to stalk lions in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe). Mike |
