Needs Improvement Chrism 2006-07-27 4:59

Hi Rabani.

Nice shot but isn't there something wrong with these two little figures ? Have you been applying some digital manipulation to them ?
I can understand if you have as it seems to be the way of things are in the so called intelligent part of the world ! What a great pity it is that you now have to feel that the human body has to be covered up...But it's quite OK to go to war etc !!!

Default To Chrism: Act Of Decency

Dear Chris,
I'm a photographer. My work is to show, beside scenic sceneries, the other side of paradise.

Maiga island is one of the 8 islands in the Semporna Island Park, Sabah. But within this park, there are people with a lot less to live with and wear. Like this naked children for instance. To me Naked Truth would not be any less naked or truthful by blurring the children's private parts. It is just being decent in posting this work.

I don't believe in covering up every inch of the body, or going to war for that matter. It is never OK to go to war, for whatever reason. In fact me being a Moslem, I don't believe let alone support others so called "moslem" engaging war for whatever reasons thay have in mind. It is people liked them, that gives any religion, a bad name, a bad feel and a bad taste.

Thank you Chris.
Regards
Rabani

Well said Rabani! Couldn't agree more. I did a unit on Islam at University (one of my fellow students from Brunei even gave me a Koran!), & the core values of Islam, like Christianity, are rock solid & sound, (love, peace, & tolerance). It's the lunatic fringe elements of both religions, that politicise religion, & deviate away from these central tenets, that give both religions a bad name. (The I.R.A. or the Atlanta Olympic Games abortion clinic bomber (1996), come to mind, as examples of Christian zealots). Peace!
