Great kajspice 2006-04-17 17:28

Hi Richard....

ooohh...this one! Why on earth I thought this was in England (and in b/w), I have no idea...I have very ignorantly ignored this because I am not particularly interested in trains! However, upon closer inspection, this is remeniscent of a different age...for this reason, I like it. The smoke, of course, is quite special. This is more than a picture of a train...

kaj

ps. I owe you some candy floss!

Default To kajspice: Different age

Yes, one of the things I liked about these trains in Poland (which I forgot to mantion today) is that they arn't beautifully restored like the working ones on mussum lines in the UK. They've been in permanent service since being built, and are dirty and patched up, with leaking gaskets and pipes. A really retro experience.
