If you type "frame for photos" in a Google search, this link comes in second position:
http://graphicssoft.about.com/od/framesoftware/Frame_Edge_Effects_Software_for_Digital_Photos.htm

Hope this helps...

Hello Jose,

What photo software are you using? Usually even basic software that comes with your PC has a simple frame feature already in it. I have Corel and Microsoft software, and they both have an option for frames. Sometimes it is just a matter of finding where the feature is. :-)

Have a good day,
Brenda

Thank you! I'm using Photoshop, but I can't find any frames. I'll try those websites suggested here. Thanks again for the help.

There are no simple/basic frames in Photoshop... and there nevre will be. You just need to change the canvas size using whatever color you wish. Perhaps you should read this tutorial first: http://www.eyefetch.com/tutorial-borders-ps.aspx

Hi Jose,
The only option I've seen in PS to add a frame is 'stroke' under file(just below 'fill'. You can try it.

Hello Jose,
on Photoshop go to 'Select' menu and choose 'Select All'. Then go to 'Image' menu and choose 'Canvas Size', there you can either frame only the upper and lower part of the photo, or each side of it or and at last put a frame around the whole photo.
Playing with each of the values will give different kinds of frame, boler or thiner - the it will be a matter of your taste.
One advice, beware of colourfull frames with shadows and so on, they are not accepted on TE and can be a reason for your photo to be removed.
You see, there is no need to use a program only for the frames with PS you can do it easilly.
The suggestion of 'Stroke' is better sutiable to but a line around the frame on those photos in which you use the same color for the frame and one of the colours that the photo has on one of extremities.
Hope this can help you.
Regards.
Paulo

Thank you everybody. My wish was to find classic/simple-basic frames for downloading (the type that pictures can be drag to or "ready made" borders/frames)...like those used by members in Pbase.com.
