Great holmertz 2018-04-26 10:46

Hello Paul,
Next time you should try Girnar Hill in Gujarat, with its 9.999 steps to the ultimate summit. I couldn't afford to waste all my films for the many "photo stops", so I had to pretend I was just admiring the view every five minutes. This is also a view to really admire. The staircase hewn out of the rock, a person pretending to watch the surroundings, and a really attractive view of the paddy fields far below. The workshops are very nice too, especially of course the one with the compulsory lady in red.
Kind regards,

Default To holmertz: This was just a warmup :)

Thank you Gert,

9.999 steps ? That sounds like a programme for a whole week for me.

Is it possible to stay for the night on the top or did you have to go down the same day ?
I must admit that it sounds exciting but I'm not sure that I wouldn't give up.
I'm afraid I should have done it many many years ago.

Yet, you gave me something to look out for

It is very important that you make such hikes / climbs in the best season.

Best wishes,
