Well, sounds interesting. Are still possibilities to be beta tester? I would like to be.

Weíre opening up beta testing to anyone who would like to give us feedback on bugs. The site is now open at

http://beta.trekearth.com (English)
http://frbeta.trekearth.com (French)

Please report all problems/glitches with the site to us. The quicker we get issues reported, the quicker we are able to get them fixed.

To access the beta version of TrekEarth, please make sure you're signed in here, first. Then go over to the beta site.

To submit a bug, please send an email to trekearth.beta@gmail.com or trekearth.beta@gmail.com.

While we will not be able reply to these emails directly, we will be reading and acting on all of them. We are definitively interested any feedback you might have.

We would also ask that you refrain from discussing the beta site in detail in the regular forums.

Thank you for helping us in our quality control process and thank you for all the enthusiasm!!

Hi Adam,
I just will see the new profile of the site and that really seems to me very well. I did not yet really test it but at first sight, for me it is ok.
Very good work.
Excel weekend

Hi Adam,

the design seems very appealing to me but I don't know if it's me I'm missing a certain functionality: Too look after members of a specific country. I would like to search for members that have a specific country in their profile. Maybe one could also get that far to also include the region. This would make it easier to find members living in the same region or country and organize a TE meeting or other things...

Regards,
Edi

Hello,

I liked it. Good design. Excellent color.

It works like the old one but seems better organized and more appealing to the eye.

Found a bug. You are able to point your note (to say it is useful).

One suggestion. Why don't you make a small quick access theme index for a first simple overview? Some people have so many themes that it gets kind of confusing finding them. With an index you would be able to see them all and choose immediately one that interests you.

Another suggestion. Expand the favorite pictures over 100. When people reach the 100 they simply create a theme and go on.

Even another suggestion. Limit the capability of giving points, let's say, a maximum of 5 critiques per day where you can point. This would drastically cut the 'hello-nonsense-critique' and improve the criticism for quality.

Last suggestion. Allow moderate erotic photography (I know you will not).

Bye

Nuno
