Great sadeik 2007-01-17 14:40

Ha another one of Greenland excellant, great composition, however best to point out that the snow is over exposed and has lost definition, solution next time, as I learnt the hard way. Get a polarising filter (adjustable) it will also make the sky darker and or more vibrant, but be aware that it can make the sky too black.
Some of my Peru slides had polarises used but then I stopped using it (just forgot about it) and really messed up in Kashmir and took loads of mountain photos either over exposed or under exposed. I must post some of my failures and there are rather a lot of them

Default To sadeik: Polarising filter

Hi Simon. Thank's for your advice, very useful. I go for Greenland again this summer and if I am not lucky to have invested in prof gear until then, I will for sure buy a polarising filter. Best regards Jens
