Great arturo 2006-07-04 5:29

Hi Oshry,

i would not associate this photo to Colombia at all to be honest...very nice crop...spooky landscape...i particulary like the contrast between the rocks & the brought us an image of a bare and uninviting place of enormous beauty...cheers, arturo

thanks for the compliments.
This is the widely unknown Tatacoa desert a few hours south of Bogotŗ,in the HUila Province, it's an incredible place and a very small desert too. We did a 1 day tour in it. what you see here is the grey part. there's also a bigger Red part of the desert of which i've posted a couple photos. If you're ever in Colombia i believe this is a must. its very hot but there's a refreshing natural pool at the end. The red part is incredible with some incredible Cacti, whilst the grey bit really looks like a lunar, ghostly landscape.
