Great MarianneS 2009-02-03 5:18

Dear Argiris,
Congratulations! I understand your disappointment about the photo you wanted to propose as a 200th. It had a special meaning, reminding us a tragical event.
Anyway, it is a good option to add it as a ws;-)
This one is very nice too, with beautiful colours and contrasts.
Well done!
Cheers,
Marianne
PS: it will be my turn tomorrow;-)

Default To Angshu: oversharpening

Hello Angshu,
You are perfectly right.
I thought the photo was slightly blurred and I added some sharpness on the bridge.
On the screen of my PC, the result is better.
You said that Florence is a beautiful city as is Liège... did you ever come here?
Regards,
Marianne

Of course Marianne...how do I tell you otherwise? I don't think I told you that I stayed in Antwerp for 2 and 1/2 years & I've travelled the length & breadth of your beautiful country. Brugge, Dinant, Leuven, Liege, Ghent besides Antwerp were my favourite cities!
Best Regards
Angshu

Waow, I did not imagine you spent so much time in my little country:-)
The cities you mention are indeed very nice.
But you have to come back.... you still have to visit Noir Flohay ^^
It is not mentioned on touristic maps, but it is a strange and beautiful site!!
Have a good day!
Marianne
