hi Adam,
Not often you see the Brisbane as smooth as this. The streak in the sky is impressive, I like it. The patterns and textures of the sky and water are excellent. You have a good ratio of sky and water, and a fair amount of light. So this must be near Hamilton, if opposite Bulimba, On Kingsford Smith Drive? I like it, but I think it would look even better with a frame.

Thanks for your comment. I've just noticed you are my gallery neighbour today.
Yes, this is from Hamilton along the walk that goes from Brett's Wharf restaurant to Portside. There's plenty of photo opportunities - also it's pretty close to my house so convenient:)

The water really isn't this smooth, but the thirty second exposure helps to smooth it out. I'm sort of experimenting with using the smallest aperture possible so I can get the longest shutter speed I can to get the water smooth.

As for frames, I've never really tried one, but it's not a bad idea.
